The Fox and Pheasant Inn is... a friendly residential village inn situated in a beautiful river setting in the midst of the renowned Eden Valley on the edge of the Lake District.

We are a traditional village Inn offering quality home cooked food, real ale, fine wines and comfortable ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation with superb views.

The hospitality is second to none and with a choice of our stable barn restaurant and bar with log fires or our Victorian dining rooms there is something to appeal to everyone.

The village of Armathwaite is on the River Eden which is one of England's finest salmon and trout rivers and is easily accessible by road, foot and rail. Armathwaite is on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway line.

The Fox and Pheasant is an ideal base for exploring the Eden Valley and a great location for walkers, anglers and those just wanting to relax in a tranquil environment.
